All right, so Naruto Fan is having a Valentine's day fanart contest, and I thought, "Heck, I want to do something!" So I paired up my favorite couple, Shikamaru and Temari, in a nice kiss, and imagining the thoughts they would probably be thinking (because let's face it, they're both quite...err...unique). The background...well, I got lazy, and figured it would just be distracting. So there's really not much there.

I did almost ALL of this using a mouse, except for the flak vest, in which case I hijacked my roomate's graphics tablet for a little while. >_> Turns out it wasn't necessary, but then again, the vest WAS one of my favorite parts, so maybe...but yeah, I have to give a huge thanks to my roomate Leah who's nice enough to let me use her comp when she's at school. I shall pay her back someday! Rawr!

You don't need to pay me back. I'm glad you're having fun with it ^_~ This piece is really, really beautiful, Sarah. The colors are amazing, and I like the brush you used in the background, the leaves. Works well with the piece ^_^

Nah, I still want to do something nice though, as you put up with my disgusting dishes and such. :p

But thank you! I worked really hard on it; it's been a loooooong time since I actually cared about something I was working on, so that means a lot. =)

*snicker* Like my disgusting dishes are ever cleaned up... ^_^; I don't even think I washed all of mine before I left >_< 'Should have, though.

It's definitely amazing, and I can really tell you worked hard on it ^__^ I saw the sketch of it lying on a chair in the room before I left, and I thought it looked neat, but it looks *so* much better than that now. It's great! ^_^

Bah. Your dishes are on the microwave where they don't get in the way, you foe. XD I just recently cleaned out stuff that's about two months old...although I still have those eggs that I bought from way back when I moved in. I'm thinking of chucking them out the window. (joking...I don't think I've been THAT corrupted yet...*sweat*)

I feel funny, though. I cleaned my dishes just for you after you left, because I thought you'd be coming back to the apartment soon. Hahaha...not only is it dorky that I cleaned my dishes for someone who's not using them, but just the fact that you were gone for the weekend. Hahaha...I'm dumb.

Heh. Yeah... I think I have macaroni and cheese left in the fridge from around the time we moved in. I keep seeing it and thinking, 'I reeeeally need to get rid of that... but I'll do it later,' and 'later' never comes ^__^;; *is verrrry lazy* I seriously need to do that soon.

XD *snicker* Yeah... I won't be back until Sunday afternoon. But hey, at least you're ahead on your dish washing now ^_~

this is really awesome! ^^ .............. -_- still cant figure ot why you dont have more watch's than you do though.... that kinda erkes me off when good artist dont get the recognition they deserve. anywy off topice,, uh, yeah great pic! ^^ ever since i read vol 26 and 27 i've had the same couple in my head! ^^ that part of the manga was sad but really cool at the same time.... oh, wait.......... have you read that yet? uh... i'll shut up now incase im like givin somthin away....

Amazing coloring work. I was wondering what kinds of methods you use for coloring. I'm not expecting to have results like yours anytime soon, but I'm looking for an efficient way of getting rid of the pencil sketch underneath the inking.
